About the position

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in New York, New York. This position is designed for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer who will provide expert ultrasound services for a mission-driven healthcare facility currently experiencing a staffing shortage. The role involves using your expertise to produce high-quality images along with pertinent patient information for timely interpretation by designated medical team members. As a traveling sonographer with Jackson Therapy Partners, you will have the opportunity to increase your earning potential on travel contracts, which come with full-time benefits every 13 weeks or longer, depending on location and preferences. The position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and the ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will be expected to collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. The role is structured around a 40-hour work week, with shifts lasting 8 hours each. Responsibilities

  • Provide expert ultrasound services in an outpatient setting.
  • Produce high-quality ultrasound images for interpretation by medical team members.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
  • National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
  • BLS Certification.
