Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting.
- Float to NICU and PICU as census requires.
- Assist with pediatric codes, blood transfusions, and procedural sedation.
- Ensure compliance with BLS, PALS, and CHEMO protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.
Requirements
- 3 years of Pediatric nursing experience in a pediatric unit with a 1:3 RN ratio.
- BLS, PALS, and CHEMO certifications.
- Experience in handling pediatric codes and blood transfusions.
- Ability to float to adult medical-surgical units for sitter duties.
