About the position
Go Healthcare is seeking a dedicated travel nurse RN specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) for a 13-week assignment in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. This role involves providing critical care to newborns in a specialized environment, ensuring their health and well-being during their stay in the NICU. The position offers a structured schedule with 12-hour shifts, focusing on delivering high-quality nursing care to vulnerable patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate families on care procedures and health management for their newborns.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Experience in NICU nursing or a related specialty.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Bilingual skills.
