About the position
Next Move Inc is looking for a dedicated travel nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) to join our team in Bentonville, Arkansas. This role involves providing high-quality care to critically ill newborns in a fast-paced environment, ensuring their health and safety during their stay in the NICU.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in the NICU.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate and support families regarding their newborn's condition and care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Arkansas or compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience.
- BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with travel nursing.
- Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
