About the position
Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Rawlins, Wyoming. This position involves providing care to patients in a Med Surg unit, with a focus on post-surgical patients and those requiring various levels of medical attention. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to Med Surg patients including ER Hold Rooms, swing bed patients, and post-surgical patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including heparin drips.
- Monitor and manage ICU patients, including those on drips and requiring RSI experience.
- Assist in vent management for patients undergoing alcohol withdrawal.
Requirements
- Must have 2 years of experience in a Med Surg unit.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- PALS certification is preferred.
