Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Long Term Care for a 13-week assignment in Montpelier, Vermont. This role involves providing nursing care in a rehabilitation and nursing facility, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care while traveling across the United States. The position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to new environments, as well as a commitment to patient care during the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Long Term Care setting.
• Work 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) is mandatory.
• BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required prior to starting.
• Flu and Covid vaccinations or declinations must be included for submission.
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Must apply for Vermont temporary license upon confirmation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to explain employment gaps over 30 days.
