Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure informed consent is obtained.
- Monitor vital signs and administer IVs as needed during procedures.
- Assist the physician during cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, and angioplasties.
- Provide post-procedure care and monitor patients until they are stabilized for transfer or discharge.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty.
- Active RN license.
