Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical histories.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing critical thinking skills to provide appropriate interventions.
  • Participate in continuous education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Adapt quickly to new environments, working effectively with diverse teams in various healthcare settings.

Requirements

  • Valid BLS Certification
  • C-EFM Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • NRP Certification
  • Experience in Pediatric critical & intensive care
  • Proficient in Inpatient care practices
  • Knowledgeable in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Familiarity with Ophthalmology procedures and protocols
  • Experience in Critical Care Transport
  • Competent in Toddler Care
  • Skilled in Emergency Medicine
  • Experience in Outpatient care settings
  • Strong Health Coaching abilities
  • Proficient in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing practices
