About the position

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Worland, Wyoming. This position is designed for a qualified professional who will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work in a critical care setting, ensuring that all procedures are performed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role requires a commitment to delivering quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner, while also maintaining a safe work environment for both staff and patients. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be expected to process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology. This includes providing images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures. The technologist will evaluate images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation, ensuring that all imaging meets the required standards. The position also involves promoting and maintaining a patient-focused environment, delivering timely and compassionate care to all patients. This travel position is a contract role with a duration of 13 weeks, requiring 40 hours of work per week, typically in 9-hour shifts during the day. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications to patients.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.
  • Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
  • Evaluate images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
  • Maintain an environment of excellence that is patient-focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Eighteen months of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
