About the position

The Registered Nurse position involves providing high-quality patient care in a healthcare setting for a 13-week assignment. The role requires a combination of clinical skills and certifications, with a focus on various nursing procedures and patient management. The nurse will work either a 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour schedule, ensuring comprehensive care during their shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Perform nursing procedures such as IV starts, wound care, and central line management.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.

Requirements

• 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
• Skills in MS/Tele, Med/Surg, Telemetry remote monitoring, colostomy care, feeding tube care and management, renal failure management, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, heparin administration, insulin administration, PCA management, surgical drains management, isolation precautions, and wound care/wound vac.
