About the position
Assured Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a contract position in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves working in the Surgical Services department, providing support during cardiovascular surgeries. The position requires a commitment to 12-hour shifts, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance during cardiovascular surgeries as a CVOR Technologist.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist the surgical team with instruments and equipment during operations.
- Monitor patient vitals and ensure safety protocols are followed during surgeries.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current state license as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a CVOR CST.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, specifically from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a travel position as a CVOR Technologist.
- Additional certifications in surgical technology or related fields.
