About the position

Genie Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Dubuque, Iowa. This position is ideal for professionals looking to expand their experience in a dynamic healthcare environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans and ensuring the highest quality of imaging for diagnostic purposes. The role requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. The CT Technologist will work a block schedule, which includes nights and weekends, providing flexibility and the opportunity to balance work and personal life. The travel assignment is set to start on November 4, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks. The position offers a standard workweek of 40 hours, with shifts scheduled for 8 hours each night. The typical work schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekends from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. There is also an option to cover only weekends, which would involve working Friday nights and Saturday and Sunday evenings. It is important to note that if the hours are limited to 36 per week, the gross pay will be adjusted accordingly. Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in the imaging department.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging results.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Valid CT Technologist certification and state licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and protocols.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a travel healthcare role.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Additional certifications in advanced imaging techniques.
