About the position

IDR Healthcare is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Sacramento, California. This position is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in CT technology. The role is set to start on September 17, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The shifts will be 8 hours long, primarily during the night. As a travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT scans and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during the imaging process. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services. Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans on patients as per physician orders.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain and operate CT equipment according to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide accurate imaging results.
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • Valid CT Technologist license and certification.
  • Experience in performing CT scans in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with various CT imaging equipment and software.
  • Bilingual skills to communicate with diverse patient populations.
