About the position
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using computerized tomography. This role involves preparing patients for scans, operating CT equipment, processing images, and managing patient records in various healthcare settings. The position offers flexibility in shifts and the opportunity to travel for assignments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT scans and explain the procedure to them.
- Operate CT equipment to capture medical images for diagnostic purposes.
- Process and analyze images for review by radiologists and physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Utilize other imaging equipment such as X-ray and MRI as needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT technologist.
- ARRT Certification is required.
- BLS Certification (AHA) is necessary.
- Current state license (if applicable) must be held.
