About the position

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This position is designed for a Computed Tomography Technologist who is ready to make a meaningful impact at a reputable healthcare facility currently experiencing a staffing shortage. As a Jackson CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for accurately interpreting physician's scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, and operating the CT scan equipment. This role offers the flexibility to choose your location and enjoy 13-week assignments or longer in various destinations, including tourist spots, mountain locales, major cities, and rural regions. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of CT experience or current enrollment in a CT practicum. Candidates must have completed a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology. Additionally, current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or the ability to obtain ARRT certification in all practice specialty areas within one year of hire or transfer date is required. BLS certification is also necessary, and maintaining CEU/CME's as applicable for licensure is expected. Responsibilities

  • Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions.
  • Administer contrast materials as required.
  • Operate CT scan equipment effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in imaging procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of CT experience or current enrollment in CT practicum.
