About the position

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Miami, Florida. This position is designed for a skilled professional in the field of Computed Tomography, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The role is set to start as soon as possible and will last for a duration of 14 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The shifts are scheduled for 8 hours, specifically from Wednesday to Saturday, during the night from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM. This position does not require on-call duties, allowing for a more predictable work schedule. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing imaging procedures on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes. The facility is a 407-bed Level 2 hospital, primarily serving an adult population. The technologist will be expected to handle approximately 100 patients per shift, utilizing advanced GE 16, 64, and Optima slice equipment. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and licenses, including ARRT(CT), a Florida state license, and BLS certification. Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift and move patients, with weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move patients, with weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with GE 16, 64, and Optima slice equipment.
  • Previous travel experience as a CT Technologist.
