About the position
The CT Tech position is responsible for acquiring CT scans for diagnostic purposes while ensuring high standards of patient care. This role involves performing CT scans with and without contrast, assisting with patient discharge, and maintaining an orderly stock of supplies. The CT Tech must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for providing care across various patient age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Responsibilities
- Acquire CT scans of patients for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide patient service using applicable imaging modalities.
- Perform CT scans with and without contrast within established guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of care during CT scans.
- Assist with the discharge of patients.
- Order and maintain a neat and orderly stock of supplies.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for patient care based on safety measures and developmental concepts.
Requirements
- ARRT/CT license required.
- Current BLS via AHA required.
- Fit Test required.
- Drivers License/State ID required.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required based on unit.
