About the position

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Overland Park, Kansas. This position is designed for a skilled CT Technologist who is ready to take on a travel assignment that lasts for 12 weeks, working 36 hours per week. The shifts will be 12 hours long, specifically during the night from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role requires a commitment to providing excellent patient care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly in trauma situations. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating GE Optima CT scanners and ensuring that all imaging procedures are performed safely and effectively. You will work closely with unit secretaries and other technologists, with a staffing structure that includes 1 or 2 technologists available on the unit. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, with a preference for candidates who have experience with GE equipment and trauma cases. Additionally, candidates must hold a BCLS certification and be ARRT (CT) certified. Responsibilities

  • Operate GE Optima CT scanners to perform imaging procedures.
  • Provide excellent patient care, particularly in trauma situations.
  • Collaborate with unit secretaries and other technologists to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health regulations.
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Experience with GE equipment and trauma cases is preferred.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • ARRT (CT) certification required.
