About the position
Assured Nursing is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a contract position in Detroit, Michigan. The role involves working night shifts in the Central Processing Department at HF West Bloomfield Hospital, focusing on providing surgical support in the operating room.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Handle surgical instruments and supplies during operations.
- Ensure the operating room is properly equipped and organized before procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure patient safety and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
Requirements
- Current state license as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
- At least 2 years of recent experience as an Operating Room CST.
