About the position

The Cath Lab Technician position involves performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. The role requires a skilled technician to assess and prepare patients, monitor their conditions, and assist physicians during procedures. This is a full-time contract position with a call rotation requirement, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures.
• Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as needed.
• Prepare, implement, and document the plan of care for each patient.
• Communicate patient conditions with physicians before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist in performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures.
• Set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) experience.
• BLS Certification (Required).
• ACLS Certification (Required).
• EPIC for charting system experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Flexibility to float to other onsite locations within skill set and within a 40-mile radius if needed.
