Responsibilities

• Identifies correct Advance Ship Notices (ASN's) for each Purchase Order (PO) on an inbound shipment.
• Verifies shipment accuracy by comparing Advance Ship Notices (ASN's) to Transportation Management System (TMS) data.
• Researches and resolves discrepancies as needed.
• Updates the DC Unload Report daily with required information.
• Supports Transportation Coordinators with creating vendor shipments in the TMS as needed.
• Monitors the Delivery and Trailer Log reports to confirm all inbound shipments are delivered and that the shipment status has been updated by carriers to 'delivered'.
• Works with Routing Coordinators to ensure shipment dates are accurate in the TMS.
• Produces other department reports as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior transportation/traffic or Distribution Center experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Shoe Carnival's internal databases a plus; or ability to learn.
• Strong computer skills, to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Strong communication skills to include oral, written, and interpersonal.
• Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Possess a strong attention to detail and follow-up.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with cross-functional teams of internal and external partners.
