About the position

The Training Scheduler at the National Safety Council (NSC) plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's mission to save lives and prevent injuries. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, managing training schedules across various programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Training Scheduler will coordinate logistics for multiple training courses, assist with complex customer inquiries, and contribute to the overall efficiency of training operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service to students, instructors, training centers, and other stakeholders in an omnichannel contact center environment.
  • Assist with complex and/or escalated customer contacts.
  • Provide administrative support for state programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate multiple training schedules across all Roadway Safety programs, including state and court programs.
  • Manage scheduling and administration of direct training course logistics for various training formats.
  • Research and resolve complex problems related to training program delivery.
  • Use analytical skills to recommend change management tactics for systems and processes to drive efficiency.
  • Handle customer support calls, chat, email, and other communications while meeting performance expectations.
  • Document customer interactions accurately in business systems and complete routine transactions.
  • Negotiate classroom arrangements with rental facilities and manage facility invoicing.
  • Support scheduling and coordination of Master Trainers and part-time or contract instructors for training.
  • Review instructor schedules for accuracy before publishing.
  • Manage instructor class monitoring schedules and support training for special needs customers.
  • Handle sales leads for state/court training and convert leads to opportunities.
  • Manage onsite training administration from start to finish, including proposal creation and customer invoicing.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a contact center environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
