About The Position

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Trailer Technician A to help with repairs and maintenance on trailers, lift gates, and reefer equipment at our Martin Brower facility in City of Industry. Candidates must have the ability to make repairs to trailers, lift gates, and reefer units. Candidates should know how to do proper pm's on all equipment with minimal supervision. Candidates must be ok with working outside.

Requirements

• Ability to make repairs to trailers, lift gates, and reefer units
• Ability to do proper pm's on all equipment with minimal supervision
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 3 plus years of related experience
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)

Responsibilities

• Maintaining company fleet assets, diagnosing complex mechanical problems, and documenting work orders through the online AssetWorks system
• Inspect, repair, and diagnose refrigeration and heating units, as well as hydraulic liftgate components
• Assess the structural integrity and body of the asset, repair and replace parts as needed, and perform the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) annual inspection certification
• Work in a safe manner and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Other duties as assigned
