Responsibilities

  • Operate line striping equipment and machinery to apply thermoplastic and paint and other pavement markings accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare surfaces for marking by cleaning, repairing and ensuring proper adhesion for markings.
  • Measure and mark out lines, symbols, and other road markings according to specific dimensions and regulations.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
  • Collaborate with crew members and project manager to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs of striping equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Keep accurate records of materials used and work performed on each project.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in road construction or maintenance, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in road striping, pavement maintenance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Valid driver License and clean driving record.
  • Pass a drug screening test.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year Construction experience preferred.
