Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or C++)
Foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited university during the internship

Nice To Haves

Experience with SDLC
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Exposure to distributed systems or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Prior internship or research experience in data engineering, or systems
Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ownership
Ability to: Break down problems, Track deliverables and Communicate progress clearly

Responsibilities

Develop new tools and process to support the strategic direction of the organization.
Create and manage long-term goals of the organization.
Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
Prioritize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
Identify systems needs and/or define process to improve efficiency and enable reliability and scalability.
Able to speak the language of engineers and lead initiatives involving non-functional requirements and platform-level changes.
Analytical Depth: Sharp with metrics, able to deep dive into data to identify gaps, prioritize effectively, and move with urgency in dynamic environments.
End-to-end responsibility: from planning and strategy development to execution and accountability for quarterly and annual goals.
