About the position
Toyota on Nicholasville is seeking an experienced Automotive Detailer to join their team. The role involves thorough detailing and cleaning of vehicles before delivery to customers, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough detailing and cleaning of all vehicles prior to final delivery to the customer.
- Visually inspect every vehicle for flaws in the repaired area(s).
- Provide support to the repair center by shuttling customers and vehicles to the appropriate locations.
- Assist with scanning vehicles as required.
- Utilize all required safety equipment and adhere to hazardous waste disposal requirements.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings.
- Maintain the proper function of all service tools and equipment in the detail department.
- Keep the personal work area organized and return tools, materials, and equipment to designated areas.
- Perform buffing and polishing as needed.
- Complete other duties as required to meet business needs.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Detail experience is required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with the team and customers.
- Ability to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
