The technical aspects of the Tooling Team Lead include executing to maintain tools in working order for Production and MRO military and commercial jet engines.
* Coordinate, review, disposition, and track engine assembly and disassembly tooling.
* Perform visual reviews of tools for condition and configuration with the tool's drawing.
* Maintain logistical accuracy of tools including inventories and audits. Document tool transactions for deliverable metrics and reports via trackers and utilizing SAP P10.
* Facilitate broken tool processing, induction of new tooling, and assisting to minimize FOD potential on the assembly floor.
The managerial responsibilities of the Tooling Team Lead (TL) include: embracing, motivating and driving the Cyient team. You will ensure the team remains on track to achieve Performance Plus goals.
* Participate in internal and customer meetings and provide updates, quote SOWs.
* Execute SOW tasks, Train and allocate Associates work loads.
* Track Budget and On-Time Delivery, turnbacks, and other quality metrics
* Perform annual appraisals and interview potential candidates
* Approve overtime requests & daily Timesheet submissions- ensuring accurate and on-time submittal of team member timesheets.
