About the position

The Toddler Teacher Assistant at Yankee Woods KinderCare plays a vital role in creating a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and grow. This position involves implementing a nationally recognized curriculum that fosters social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development while building meaningful relationships with children, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support the center's success by collaborating with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
• Implement KCE's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child

Requirements

• 1 year of teaching experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of childcare experience (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
