About the position
The Title Specialist position at First Business Bank is a hybrid role focused on managing and processing vehicle titles for loans funded by the bank. This role involves ensuring proper lien interests are recorded, addressing customer service inquiries, and maintaining portfolio performance. The position emphasizes a commitment to client satisfaction and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Track all outstanding transactions related to vehicle titles where the bank has not received confirmation of a lien.
- Work with sales, vendors, brokers, and clients to secure confirmation of the bank's lien interest on titles.
- Establish and adhere to workflow processes for securing lien confirmations on titles.
- Process titles electronically and manually to ensure proper lien interest is recorded.
- Quote loan payoffs and prepare amortization schedules for clients.
- Address tax and loan balance related questions from clients.
- Respond to payment-related inquiries, including ACH and payment posting questions.
- Provide copies of loan documentation upon request.
- Process insurance-related payoff requests and respond to all client inquiries regarding their loan accounts.
Requirements
- Experience working with titles and state DMVs preferred but not required.
- 2-4 years of service in the finance industry.
- 2-4 years of customer service experience.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Patient personality with the ability to handle client requests effectively.
