About the position
The Specialized Programs Teacher Assistant III position at Bruner, Lucile Elementary School involves supporting teachers in delivering educational programs to students, particularly those in specialized programs. Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing educational programs for students in specialized programs.
- Support students in their learning activities and provide individualized attention as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Help with classroom management and discipline as directed by the teacher.
- Prepare instructional materials and assist in the setup of classroom activities.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency).
- Minimum of 48 credit hours from an accredited college or university, or passing score on the ETS ParaPro assessment.
- Experience working with children.
