Title: Associate Art Director

About the position

As an Associate Art Director at Bio-Rad, your day will be a balance of hands-on design work and strategic collaboration. You'll start by reviewing creative briefs and aligning with senior team members on upcoming projects. Mid-morning might involve concepting new digital and print assets for an upcoming campaign. You'll spend part of your afternoon refining layouts, ensuring brand consistency, and providing feedback to designers. The day could end with a stakeholder presentation or brainstorming session to refine messaging and visual storytelling for an upcoming product launch.

Responsibilities

• Develop Creative Assets - Execute high-quality visuals across digital, print, video, and event marketing.
• Maintain Brand Integrity - Ensure all creative work aligns with Bio-Rad's brand guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Support Campaign Execution - Work with Marketing and Product teams to create compelling visual narratives that engage target audiences.
• Collaborate with Teams - Partner with designers, copywriters, video producers, and stakeholders to bring concepts to life.
• Present & Communicate Design Concepts - Effectively articulate creative decisions and rationale to peers and leadership.

Requirements

• Experience - 4+ years in an agency or in-house creative role, with a focus on marketing campaigns.
• Technical Skills - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, and an understanding of digital/print production workflows.
• Creative Problem-Solving - Ability to translate complex scientific ideas into visually engaging and accessible marketing materials.
• Strong Attention to Detail - Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and high-quality execution in all creative deliverables.
• Collaboration & Communication - Strong ability to work in a team environment and clearly present creative concepts to stakeholders.
