About the position
The Tire Technician position at Andy Wurm Tire and Wheel Co. involves performing tire-related services in a fast-paced environment. Technicians will be responsible for changing, balancing, and repairing tires, as well as installing wheels and completing related paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Change, balance and repair tires in a timely and efficient manner
- Install new and used wheels in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate equipment as trained
- Complete paperwork related to customer invoices (legible handwriting is required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform general cleaning duties
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Mechanical knowledge
- Customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Entry level position with under 1 year of experience preferred
