About the position

As a Tire and Battery Center Services Lead at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for driving member service and supervising a team of hourly associates to ensure safe and efficient tire and battery services. This role requires expertise in the Tire and Battery Center, collaboration with other team leaders, and a commitment to operational excellence and member satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the team within the Tire and Battery Center to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club.
  • Communicate the goals of the department, set guidelines and expectations for tire and battery service, and execute company programs.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, and equipment operations.
  • Train the team on new products and technologies related to the business.
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the service experience.
  • Ensure a neat, clean, and safe work area for the team and members.
  • Drive business results and maintain accurate inventory and compliance standards.
  • Train and develop team members to deliver high-quality services to members.
  • Collaborate with managers and co-workers to implement processes and practices that meet business needs.

Requirements

  • 6 months supervisory experience or 6 months experience in the automotive industry.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice-to-haves

  • Supervisory experience in the Tire Industry.
  • Tire Industry Certification - Certificate.
