About the position

The Oracle Time and Labor Systems Analyst at In-N-Out Burger is responsible for the development, testing, implementation, and ongoing administration of payroll systems, specifically focusing on the Oracle Cloud ERP. This role ensures the efficient operation of the Oracle Time and Labor module, supporting timekeeping and labor tracking across various departments. The analyst will work closely with both functional and technical teams to maintain system integrity and optimize payroll processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system maintenance and assist in the review, testing, and implementation of payroll systems including Oracle/ERP systems and Kronos.
  • Configure and maintain Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) modules to support business requirements.
  • Develop and modify Fast Formulas to meet complex timekeeping and payroll rules.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrades or fixes.
  • Maintain payroll system tables and document processes and results.
  • Configure, develop, and independently manage multiple Oracle modules.
  • Present solutions to problems logically to supervisors and stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of the impact of changes across the entire system landscape.
  • Write complex reports/queries utilizing appropriate Oracle reporting tools.
  • Develop standard and custom reports for ongoing customer needs.
  • Build scorecards and dashboards that present data visually and logically.
  • Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Provide production support, including researching and resolving Oracle problems and unexpected results.
  • Manage projects and process improvements, applying change management experience.
  • Optimize payroll systems processes by integrating software/systems for automation.
  • Perform audits on payroll processes, documents, and data.
  • Maintain specialization across the Oracle platform through continuous learning.
  • Champion process/customer service improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Conduct trainings and develop user procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field required.
  • 7+ years of configuration and development experience in Oracle.
  • Relevant experience in other ERP systems will also be considered.
  • 7+ years of experience with Oracle Payroll modules, including Time and Labor.
  • Excellent SQL and fast formula skills.
  • Strong understanding of quantitative/qualitative measurement and data/system design principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with a programming language and PL/SQL preferred.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office, MS Excel and other financial software tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience with UKG.
  • Experience with a Project Management Tool preferred.
