About the position

The Time and Expense Field Support Specialist I at Amergis plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals and clients while ensuring accurate payroll and billing processes. This position focuses on maintaining effective communication, supporting the revenue cycle, and contributing to a high-energy office culture. The specialist will also engage in professional development and continuous improvement of essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a professional, proactive attitude and maintains effective communication within the Hub and with clients, caregivers, and team members.
  • Provides excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Maintains proficiency in all support functions and activities to ensure office operations are met under the guidance of the Field Support Manager.
  • Meets and maintains HIPAA regulations regarding Protected Health Information.
  • Proactively collects all timecards for the current pay period from each office.
  • Accurately processes all payroll and billing data into the applicable system of record by a defined deadline.
  • Follows established operating rhythms to ensure standardization of processes and procedures.
  • Displays strong organizational and time management skills to support multiple offices efficiently.
  • Adapts to and incorporates the latest technology into daily processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Works closely with HQ partners to troubleshoot issues and ensure no gaps or delays within the revenue cycle.
  • Communicates all issues or concerns relating to payroll or billing errors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree required; undergraduate degree preferred.
  • One year of work experience in a team environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively elicit and provide information to team members, caregivers, and clients using strong communication skills.
