About the position

The Tile Apprentice position offers an opportunity to learn the tile trade while earning a competitive wage in a supportive, family-like environment. This role is ideal for individuals interested in developing skills in masonry, tile, and granite work, with the potential for pay raises as skills improve. Apprentices will receive training in industry standards and may be enrolled in educational classes to further their knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Cut with wet saw
• Accurately measure with tape measure
• Perform basic math skills
• Mix mortar
• Lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 100 ft
• Report complications to supervisor
• Maintain clean & safe work area
• Operate drill/screw/nail gun
• Stand and walk for the majority of the day

Requirements

• 1+ year tile helper experience preferred but not required
• Ability to perform basic math and geometry
• Strong communication skills
