Responsibilities

  • Schedule patients for physical and orthopedic occupational therapy.
  • Provide patients with information about ORA Physical Therapy services, physical therapists, and what to expect from their physical therapy treatments.
  • Track and manage inbound and outbound therapy orders.
  • Manage the therapy scheduling queue.
  • Complete pending insurance verifications.
  • Provide high-level patient care by coordinating and scheduling physical therapy appointments in a friendly and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer service and appointment scheduling experience in a medical office or therapy clinic preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical terminology.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment required.
  • Travel to various ORA clinic locations is required.
