About the position
The Adult Therapist position at Park Nicollet Behavioral Health Department involves providing comprehensive mental health services to adults in an outpatient setting. The role requires assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse patient population with various mental health concerns, while also collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat adults with a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma.
- Provide evidence-based care to patients in a hybrid clinic and remote work environment.
- Build professional relationships with behavioral health and primary care colleagues to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain ethical practices and excellent communication skills in all interactions.
Requirements
- Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating adults (18 years and older).
- Training in evidence-based care for adults.
- Independently licensed or license eligible in Minnesota as a Masters level Therapist (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commitment to ethical practices.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with a broad range of mental health issues including ADHD and chemical use/misuse.
