About The Position

The TGM Service Technician will commute to the assigned Medical Center(s) handling distribution, maintenance of equipment and inventory of Airgas Cylinders on customer site premises. The TGM Service Technician nurtures client partnerships by supporting the customer’s medical gas needs, while maintaining a safe work environment that respects the clients' customers. Contribute to scheduled rounds to maintain par levels at all locations within the facility. Collect and return empty cylinders to storage area(s) to facilitate a smooth return to the production facility. Monitor and receive cylinder gas deliveries to support accurate delivery documentation. Change out gas/liquid cylinder manifolds at the service sites. Follow all applicable facility guidelines and procedures, as well as all Airgas Standards and regulatory guidelines including, but not limited to: SAFECOR, HS&E, JCAHO, CGMP, OSHA, etc. Complete assigned tasks in alignment with existing procedures. Make initial evaluations and seek collaborative assistance when navigating complex challenges. Respond to emergency situations to safeguard an uninterrupted supply of product. Coordinate cylinder reviews at specified intervals. Provide inventory usage reports to the hospital. Consult with customers regarding cylinder gas inventory par levels to foster understanding of their needs. Adjust inventory levels to accommodate customers' seasonal demands. Place and process orders through the AirGas.com system. Document cylinder gas inventory usages using either Google forms or Google sheets. Maintain the organized separation of empties from full and in-use cylinders. Rotate all non-specialty gases products, targeting every 30 days. Dedicated to the safety of all persons and the general public surrounding facilities. Safety is a vital condition of our shared success and continued employment. Submit any Good Catch incidents using the TGM Good Catch Google Form to help us continuously improve our safety culture. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid US Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Welding Technology or Sales preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product distribution or inventory management.
  • Experience with welding and safety products or related industrial products a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • Tie workflow to schedule
  • Comprehensive understanding of gas operating safety procedures
  • Gas measurement, pressure regulation and over pressure protection installations
