About the position

Millennium Corporation is seeking a Test Coordinator to join our team in APG, Maryland. This role is critical in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of test and evaluation activities for government programs. The Test Coordinator will be responsible for developing and staffing Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) that align with program milestones, ensuring that all testing activities meet the necessary standards and requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defense acquisition systems and military tactics, techniques, and procedures, as well as the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders, including the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC). In this position, the Test Coordinator will monitor ATEC activities to ensure that testing and assessments are adequate and that the necessary data and results are available for independent evaluation. The role involves overseeing Test and Evaluation Working Integrated Product Teams (T&E WIPTs) and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), ensuring that all associated test plans, procedures, and execution are thorough and effective. The Test Coordinator will also be responsible for evaluating test data, assessing risks, and developing summaries for leadership briefings and milestone decisions. Additionally, the Test Coordinator will assist with business development activities to support Millennium's strategic objectives, which may include participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, and proposal writing support. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks and collaborate with various teams to ensure the success of testing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage assignments, progress, and evaluate results.
  • Research applicable documents such as Capability Development Documents, Capability Production Documents, product specifications, and Army Regulations to develop and staff Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs).
  • Coordinate with ATEC to determine and develop appropriate testing for government programs.
  • Monitor ATEC activities to ensure adequacy of their testing and assessments.
  • Oversee or conduct Test and Evaluation Working Integrated Product Teams (T&E WIPTs) and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).
  • Ensure military tactics, techniques, and procedures used during testing are current and representative.
  • Attend testing and report test results and issues as required by PM.
  • Evaluate test data, assess risks, and develop test result summaries for leadership briefings, Suitability Statements, and Milestone Decisions.
  • Work with Assistant Product Managers, Product Leads, and PMs to understand interfaces and resolve integration issues.
  • Review system evaluation plans, evaluation strategy reviews, and provide input to the PMs.
  • Work on scheduling and resourcing DT/OT events.
  • Review test plans, test procedures, test reports, and system assessment reports for adequacy, accuracy, and identification of issues.
  • Use test plans or other program data/research to develop fiscal year ammunition requirements to support programs.

Requirements

  • Must have an active secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Equivalent experience commensurate with DAWIA Level III T&E certification is desired.
  • Extensive knowledge and previous experience in Defense Acquisition Systems (non-IT).
  • Strong understanding of Military Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in business development activities related to technical interviews and proposal writing.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation creation and proposal color reviews.
