About the position

The Test Automation Consultant at Accenture is responsible for driving quality in software solutions through deep expertise in planning, constructing, and executing test scripts. This role focuses on transforming testing into a continuous and efficient quality engineering function, utilizing innovative testing products and methodologies to enhance control, accuracy, and integrity in software testing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive quality in software solutions by planning, constructing, and executing test scripts.
  • Develop end-to-end testing strategies using quality processes and methodologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction in testing.
  • Transform testing into a continuous and efficient quality engineering function.
  • Evolve predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Test Automation including planning, script development, and maintenance.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in software development in an Agile environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in two of the following: Java/J2EE, Groovy, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, C#, VB.NET.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in two of the following testing toolsets or frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Protractor, SoapUI, Worksoft Certified, Tricentis Tosca, UFT.
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous integration, including two of the following: Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, Git, Mercurial, Subversion, Bitbucket, GitHub.

Nice-to-haves

  • Solid grasp of application architectures.
  • Experience using TDD or BDD.
  • Familiarity with virtualization tools such as CA Service Virtualization, Rational Integration Server, Parasoft Virtualize, or SmartBear Ready!API.
  • Experience with Nexus, Artifactory, NPM, Bower, or similar.
