About The Position

This is a full-time Territory Sales Manager position for a global manufacturer of door and wall protection + design systems, curtain and track systems, and commercial window treatments. The company is a recognized leader in the design & manufacturing of roller shades. The role offers a dynamic and supportive work environment with autonomy and well-liked management. The position is based in Tampa, Florida, with great pay, full benefits, and bonus + commissions.

Requirements

  • Reside near the Sarasota and Tampa areas.
  • Be passionate about selling products that are of the highest quality and value in their class.
  • Be energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams.
  • Be a self-starter and organized, recognizing the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Have a bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior outside sales experience calling in construction or building products, calling on architects and designers, is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales and ensure market penetration with existing accounts.
  • Actively pursue new customers and develop new opportunities.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with end-user customers across multiple market segments such as healthcare, education, hospitality, and other commercial segments.
  • Gain recognition as an industry resource and product expert.
  • Conduct appointments/presentations with architects, interior designers, contractors, and facility end users.
  • Travel within the territory from Naples to Tampa at least 4 days/week with a minimum of 5 appointments per day.
  • Occasional out-of-territory travel for trade shows and conferences.
