About the position
The Temporary Student Support - Bid Analyst role at WK Kellogg Co is designed for students currently enrolled in a business-related degree program. This part-time position involves assisting the Channels team in executing trade plans to achieve net sales and operating profit goals through effective management of bid pricing and contract processes. The role is remote and averages 25 hours per week, starting in January 2025 and concluding in May 2025.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and analyzing bid requests and making recommendations to sales on products and pricing
- Analyzing bid recaps to understand win/loss/share data
- Developing reporting tools to optimize utilization of bid data
- Identifying risk and opportunity areas and capturing competitive information
- Ensuring accuracy of data, timely submissions, compliance with bid requirements, and compliance with internal audit guidelines
- Working closely with the Trade Manager on developing scorecards and providing guidance to the sales team on trade allowances
- Maintaining contract pricing integrity for all channels within Specialty
- Collaborating with the deduction management team on deduction resolution and process improvements
- Assisting in the implementation and communication of the trade strategy and trade effectiveness plans.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at an accredited college or university working toward a degree in a business-related field
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated sound business judgment and confidence
- Skilled in computer and software applications, particularly Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with all levels of personnel
- Experience in SAP/Vistex and/or CPG industry is a plus.
