About the position

The Temporary Sales Leader at Lane Bryant's Treasure Valley Marketplace is responsible for leading store activities that enhance associate and client engagement while achieving financial and operational goals. This role involves acting as the Manager on Duty in the absence of another manager, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a diverse and inclusive culture within the store.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to providing exceptional associate and client engagement.
• Achieve store goals including financial objectives, client service, talent management, operational controls, asset protection, and merchandise presentation.
• Operate as the Manager on Duty in the absence of another Manager.
• Support the onboarding experience to position associates for excellence in their roles and career progression.
• Encourage continuous growth and celebrate positive performance and service behaviors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws at all times.
• Represent Lane Bryant by adhering to 'Dress Your Best' guidelines and articulating current trends in client interactions.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively, empowering the team to do the same.
• Drive operational excellence and manage controllable expenses.
• Promote a test and learn culture and embrace change.

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• 6 months specialty retail experience, preferred.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Technology proficient and strong business acumen.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English; other languages desirable.
