Responsibilities

- Collect and analyze relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
- Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain desired outcomes.
- Evaluate patient progress toward attaining outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe and effective care.
- Provide learning opportunities for patients and family members regarding health information.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Acute care facility experience preferred.
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) certification required.
