About the position

Wentworth Senior Living is hiring a Temporary Property Manager with flexible hours, available for both full-time and part-time work. This position requires onsite work in Portsmouth, NH, located steps from Portsmouth's Market Square and Prescott Park, behind the Strawbery Banke Museum. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and prioritize custodial and housekeeping services to ensure facility and resident dwellings are always in pristine condition.
  • Recommend any equipment repair, replacements and/or purchases, as well as anything exceeding established budgetary guidelines.
  • Develop and ensure adherence to preventative maintenance schedules (daily, weekly, quarterly/annual and as necessary) to maintain the facility in 'like new' condition.
  • Ensure work orders submitted are reviewed daily and appropriately prioritized and assigned for timely completion.
  • Act as a working manager, providing custodial services and light maintenance as needed.
  • In collaboration with department leaders, identify, contract and supervise outsourced vendor services including but not limited to landscaping and snow removal, phone systems, building security, HVAC system, plumbing and electrical.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management or related field preferred
  • Must have safety and facilities maintenance experience (preferably in a long-term care or Assisted Living facility)
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with the office team as well as the residents.
