Responsibilities
- Maintain invoicing: Ensure payments to carrier terms with a zero late fee objective
- Provide feedback: Prompt and complete feedback/reporting to internal and external customers
- Problem solve: Research and resolve billing discrepancies as well as other internal and external data errors including no match, entry errors, duplicate and incorrect invoicing
- Offer resolution: Resolve discrepancies/exceptions and troubleshoots for outsourced invoice processing providers
- Report tracking: Run reports/maintain excel files to monitor and act on department and invoice payment metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Analytics/Accounting preferred or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years' experience in invoicing preferred
- Freight pay or accounting invoicing experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, decision making, analytical, communication and follow-up skills required
