About the position
The Temporary Custodial Worker at Wolfe University Center is responsible for providing custodial services and maintenance support across various areas of the facility. This role involves cleaning, maintaining, and supporting event setups, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for students and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provides custodial services and maintenance support to outdoor seating areas, main entrances, exterior walkways, interior seating areas, corridors, ballrooms, restrooms, classrooms, and offices.
- Cleans restrooms using approved chemical cleaners and disinfectants.
- Tends to sinks, counters, mirrors, toilet and urinal fixtures, toilet partitions, walls, and floors.
- Replenishes restroom supplies including toilet tissue, paper towels, toilet seat covers, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and fragrance dispensers.
- Disposes of trash and replenishes the receptacles' plastic liners.
- Supports event production by performing physical setup of tables, chairs, stages, podiums, ceremonial flags, ice carts, pitchers of iced water, and other production requirements according to provided instructions.
- Provides and installs tablecloths and table skirting as needed.
- Removes decorations and adhesive tapes after events.
Requirements
