About the position
The University of New Mexico Los Alamos is seeking Temporary Part-Time faculty to teach Electronics courses at the 100-200 level. This role involves teaching both online and face-to-face classes, with positions contingent upon student enrollment and course offerings each semester. The faculty will be responsible for all aspects of course delivery, including content development, grading, and student assessment. The position emphasizes teaching excellence and is aimed at providing vocational and technical education to the local community.
Responsibilities
- Teach online and/or face-to-face Electronics courses at the 100-200 level.
- Develop course content and assignments.
- Grade assignments and report grades.
- Assess student learning as outlined by the Program Coordinator.
- Meet with the class during assigned times.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5 years' experience using electronics in a professional industrial setting.
