About the position
The University of New Mexico Los Alamos is seeking Temporary Part-Time faculty to teach Drafting courses at the 100-200 level. This role involves teaching both online and face-to-face classes, with positions contingent upon student enrollment and course offerings each semester. The faculty will be responsible for all aspects of course delivery, including content development, grading, and assessment of student learning. The position emphasizes teaching excellence and is aimed at providing vocational and technical education to the local community.
Responsibilities
- Teach online and/or face-to-face Drafting courses at the 100-200 level.
- Meet with students during assigned class times.
- Deliver course content effectively.
- Develop assignments and assess student learning.
- Report grades and provide feedback to students.
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator regarding curriculum and course offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5 years' experience using drafting in technical industrial settings.

- Availability to teach in person at Los Alamos campus
- Familiarity with AutoCad
- New Mexico resident
